OPTIMIZE NeurologY IN Austin TX

Mission

At Optimize Neurology, based in Austin, Texas, Dr. Wingrove and Mariah’s vision is to practice the art of neurology.

They always strive to grow their knowledge base and stay up-to-date in this vast and changing field, all while genuinely listening and working towards helping deliver comprehensive and personalized care.

Patient-centric

At Optimize Neurology, the approach brings back memories of a time where the doctor-patient relationship was the gold standard of trust and respect.

We do not pretend to have all the answers, but do our best to advocate for our patients, empower them through education, and recommend diagnostic/treatment plans to overall OPTIMIZE care.

Access to care

This is a problem nationwide, and Central Texas is not immune!  This is due to a shortage of neurology specialists mismatched to the ever-growing demand of neurological concerns and conditions in the population.

Dr. Wingrove has brought on Mariah Denny APRN (who has >10 years of experience in delivering neurological care) to get patients seen sooner!  An APRN is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, who beyond their nursing training, has advanced education, clinical training, and certifications to be able to better assess, diagnose, and start treatment plans--so Mariah can start workups, prescribe medications, and overall-get the ball-rolling, as she works with Dr. Wingrove.

Integrative

Neurology requires big picture knowledge of all other organ systems while, at the same time, a keen attention to detail in both history-taking and examination of patients.

Accordingly, Dr. Wingrove and Mariah strive to care for their patients with an integrative mind-body-spirit approach across the various organ systems the nervous system serves.

Personalized

By crafting a personal care plan based on truly listening and discussing options, Dr. Wingrove and Mariah bring a fresh, integrative perspective to solving problems, and believe that, by really getting to know their patients, they can best craft a path to positive change.

Clinical Trials

Dr. Wingrove strives to constantly learn and stay on top of the latest.  She is painfully aware that sometimes the current neurological toolbox does not have the most effective tools for some conditions.  Whenever possible, when patients and their families are interested, she will look out for potential clinical trials available in the area.
